Frequently Asked Questions

We design and deliver complete entertainment experiences. Rather than sourcing a single performer, we build the full picture. Musicians, vocalists, DJs, specialty acts, and the sound, lighting, and AV support behind them — as one coordinated engagement. You brief us once. We handle the curation, the coordination, and the execution.

Booking an individual performer means you also become the producer. You're sourcing sound separately, chasing tech riders, coordinating load-in times with a venue, and holding the contingency plan yourself.

We absorb all of that. Our artists are selected for professionalism as much as talent, we coordinate directly with your venue and AV team, and we carry the backup plan so you never have to think about one. If a performer becomes unavailable, replacing them is our responsibility, not yours — and we have the network to do it at the same level.

There's also the curation itself. Most clients know the feeling they want long before they know the instrumentation that creates it. Translating one into the other is the work.

South Florida is our home market, and we work regularly in New York and California. We also take destination engagements, domestically and internationally. If you're planning outside those regions, tell us where and when. Travel is a logistics question, not a limitation.

It depends on the complexity, not the calendar. A solo instrumentalist for an intimate dinner can sometimes be arranged within the week. A wedding, a multi-performer production, or anything involving custom arrangements or AV should be secured two to three months out at minimum, often earlier for peak season and destination dates. If your date is close, ask anyway. We'd rather tell you honestly what's possible than have you assume it isn't.

Four steps.

1. Inquiry. You share your date, venue, guest count, and the atmosphere you're after. We respond within 24 to 48 hours.

2. Discovery call. We learn your style, your audience, your timeline, and what you want the room to feel like. If you don't yet know what you want, this is where we narrow it for you.

3. Curation. You receive a proposal with a hand-selected shortlist, performance media, and a transparent cost breakdown. We refine it with you until it's right.

4. Execution. Once confirmed, we coordinate the logistics — venue, AV, timing, tech requirements — so that on the day, the only thing you do is enjoy it.

Every engagement is quoted individually, because entertainment isn't a catalogue item. A two-hour cocktail set and a full production with lighting and multiple acts share almost nothing. Your proposal includes a clear line-item breakdown so you can see precisely what you're paying for and adjust with full visibility.

Local South Florida engagements include performer travel. For destination events, travel and lodging can be built into the quote or arranged directly by you, whichever is simpler on your end.

A 50% deposit secures your date and the artists. The balance is due the week of the event, with day-of accepted by arrangement. Performances proceed once the balance is settled.

We accept Zelle, ACH, check, and credit card (3% processing fee).

Yes to both. Every engagement is contracted. We're glad to work within your agreement. Planners, venues, and corporate clients often have their own — provided the terms are reasonable and offer both sides appropriate protection. We also provide W-9s and COIs upon request.

Rescheduling: we hold your pricing for a full year from the original date, assuming travel requirements are comparable. Any non-refundable costs already incurred on your behalf are the client's responsibility.

Cancellation more than 60 days out: your deposit is refunded.

Cancellation within 60 days: you may apply your deposit to a rescheduled date within one year, or the retainer is forfeited.

Cancellation within the event week: non-refundable, as artists have held the date and declined other work.

It varies by act, and we confirm specifics well ahead. As a baseline: reliable power, a green room or private space for artists, and clear load-in access.

A string quartet typically requires no amplification. Solo instrumentalists do — we bring Bose L1 Pro8 or similar systems. DJs need a table or booth, which they can supply, if necessary. Outdoor performances require covering for equipment provided by the venue or client; our agreement makes clients liable for weather damage where covering isn't provided.

Full stage plots and tech riders go to your venue and production team approximately one month out.

Either. We provide sound and lighting directly, and we work seamlessly alongside a production team you've already engaged. If you have an AV vendor, we'll integrate with them. If you don't, you won't need one.

Backline isn't standard, but we can source it when required.

We replace them with an artist of equal caliber from our network. This is precisely what an agency is for, and it is our problem to solve, not yours.

In the exceptionally rare case where no equivalent replacement can be secured and the performance can't proceed, we refund 75–100% depending on resources already committed. In fifteen years of performing, we've never no-showed an engagement.

Yes, and this is where working with one partner earns its keep. We can bundle all three into a single coordinated engagement, or handle them separately if you have a specific artist in mind for one moment.

Most couples want distinct energy across the day: strings for the processional, something warmer for cocktails, a DJ or band to carry the night. Designing that arc as one continuous experience, rather than three vendors who've never spoken, is what we do.

Your planner is our default point of contact. They're managing the timeline, and entertainment shouldn't be a separate conversation running alongside it. We'll coordinate directly with them on run-of-show, load-in, sound, and cues.

If you're working without a planner, or you'd prefer direct communication, that's entirely fine, just tell us at the outset.

Yes. First dances, processionals, parent dances, a song that means something only to the two of you, we learn it, and we can arrange it specifically for your instrumentation. Custom arrangements and mashups are part of what we do.

We ask for musical requests at least one month before the date so the arrangement receives the attention it deserves. Later requests aren't automatically no, tell us as soon as you can and we'll do everything we can.

Yes. Our repertoire spans Spanish, Italian, German, French, Hebrew and Jewish liturgical music, Christian ceremonial repertoire, American standards, jazz, contemporary, and more. We regularly perform for weddings with specific cultural or religious traditions.

What we ask is specificity. Every tradition — and every family within it — has its own conventions about what is and isn't appropriate. Give us the dos and don'ts and we'll honor them precisely.

Seriously. Do-not-play lists are treated as absolute. Must-plays are prioritized. We run a final playlist by you before the event so there are no surprises in either direction.

Our artists arrive one to two days ahead of the date. Never same-day, and never on a schedule that a delayed flight could compromise.

On travel and lodging, you choose: give us a budget and we book everything ourselves, or if you have a hotel block, we'll use it and submit receipts for reimbursement. Either way, it's handled transparently.

Three things. Equipment requires proper covering, provided by you or the venue. Our agreement makes the client liable for weather-related damage where covering isn't in place. Amplification needs a reliable power source; generators are possible where truly necessary, though venue power is always better. And many waterfront and estate venues carry sound ordinances. Tell us early and we'll design within them rather than discovering the limit mid-ceremony.

Whatever your event calls for. Black tie, all-white, a specific palette to match your design — attire is customizable, and depending on scope, we can source it or coordinate with your stylist. Just share your dress code during planning.

Several months, and earlier for peak season and destination dates. Weddings involve more moving parts than any other event we produce. Custom arrangements, ceremony coordination, venue requirements, timeline integration with your planner. The work is better when it isn't rushed.

If your date is sooner, still reach out. We'll tell you honestly what's achievable.

Rolls-Royce, Lexus, Faena Miami Beach, W Hotels, Marriott Tampa Water Street, the Miami and Palm Beach Convention Centers, and the Beverly Hilton, Baptist Health, Vohra Wound Physicians, Coin Desk, among others. We also perform regularly for private celebrity events under NDA.

Roughly 100 events across the past year, spanning brand activations, corporate programming, conventions, and private clients.

Yes. Custom arrangements built around a brand's sonic identity, repertoire curated to an audience, ensembles configured to a space, product-reveal and walk-on moments scored to the second, custom costuming where the budget supports it.

The starting point is always the brief: what the moment needs to accomplish, not just what should be playing during it.

Yes. We work from your run-of-show and coordinate directly with your production team and stage manager on cues, timing, transitions, and sound. Rehearsals are included.

Tell us early where entertainment sits in the flow. The difference between a performance that happens during your program and one that's built into it is planning, not talent.

Constantly. Stage plots and tech riders reach your team approximately a month out, and we'll get on calls with them well before that. If you'd rather we handle sound and lighting entirely, we can do that too, many clients prefer a single point of accountability for the entertainment package.

We've staffed up to 20 performers at a single event. Larger scale is possible with appropriate lead time and budget — tell us what you're building and we'll tell you honestly whether it's the right fit.

Yes, and we take it seriously. A significant portion of our work is under NDA and stays that way — we don't name those clients, publicize footage, or trade on the association.

The same applies on-site. We're fully comfortable with no-phone policies, VIP protocols, and security requirements. Where we'd love a recommendation, we'll ask afterward. We won't ask on the day.

We provide W-9s and certificates of insurance, and we'll sign your agreement where the terms are reasonable and offer both sides appropriate protection. Performers engage as independent contractors.

If your process requires vendor portals, background checks, or specific compliance documentation, raise it early and we'll tell you plainly what we can accommodate.

Our standard structure is a 50% deposit with the balance due the event week. We recognize corporate accounts payable doesn't always work that way, and we'll consider Net 30 or Net 60 case by case for established organizations. Flag it during the proposal stage rather than after.

Multi-day activations, yes. Multi-city roadshows are outside our standard scope, but with the right lead time and budget, we can build toward it. Tell us the full picture and we'll be straight with you about fit.

With a conversation, not a decision.

Most of our private clients arrive knowing the feeling they want and not the instrumentation that creates it. That's normal, and it's genuinely the easier starting point. Tell us the occasion, the venue, roughly how many guests, and what you want the evening to feel like. We'll come back with two or three curated directions and explain the difference between them.

You don't need to know what you want before you call. That's what the call is for.

No. We've performed for intimate dinners and for hundreds of guests, and the level of attention doesn't change with the guest count. A solo instrumentalist for twelve people at a private table receives the same curation and coordination as a full production.

Yes. We work regularly in private estates and country clubs, and we've performed on yachts.

Non-traditional venues do have real constraints: limited load-in, restricted power, tighter footprints, sound ordinances. We work with you to plan around all of it. Bring us into the conversation early enough and these become details rather than problems.

Usually not. Sound ordinances and curfews are ordinary parts of estate and residential work, and we design within them. Instrumentation, placement, and volume all adjust. Share the restrictions upfront and we'll build a plan that respects them.

The one exception: if your HOA prohibits amplified music outright, that isn't something we can work around. Worth confirming before you plan around live entertainment.

Less than you'd expect. Practically: reliable power, a private space where artists can prepare, and clear access for load-in. If the performance is outdoors, covering for equipment.

We'll walk your space with you, virtually or, for an additional fee, in person, and tell you exactly what's needed. You won't be guessing.

Yes. Whether it's a song for a milestone toast, an anniversary dance, or a piece that means something to your guest of honor, we learn it and can arrange it for your ensemble.

Our repertoire covers jazz, Top 40, standards, Latin, and international music across Spanish, Italian, German, and Hebrew, among others. We ask for requests a month out where possible, and we'll always try to accommodate what comes later.

Yes. Some of our DJs handle MC duties for an additional fee — announcements, toasts, transitions — and we can arrange dedicated hosting where an event calls for it.

For most events, yes. An on-site representative coordinating load-in, sound, timing, and transitions. Depending on production scale, this is either included or quoted separately, and your proposal will make that clear.

We're also reachable throughout every event we produce. If something needs solving, you shouldn't be the one solving it.
